Dedaulus System Cleaner 1.6.23

Dedaulus System Cleaner (DSC) is the small utility, not needed to install, that helps you to clean your PC from various garbage. DSC allows to clean temp folders and cache/history/cookies of Web browsers (Internet Explorer, Opera 8-9, Firefox 1.5-2.0). DSC also allows to organize search of temporary files of other programs, using special masks (you can edit them at own discretion), search of bad shortcuts, search of empty folders, search of duplicates, and search of registry errors.

Version 1.6.23 has link to view files in temp folder; Possibility to add new MRU must be cleaned; Windows Media Player MRU added; Mozilla Firefox 2.0 support; Registry errors deleting fixed; Opera browser detecting fixed; Translation errors fixed.

Dedaulus System Cleaner is a small tool that helps clean the PC from temporary files, incorrect shortcuts, Internet cookies & history, Registry errors, unwanted autoload programs, etc.

It features an optional one-click cleanup, assists in uninstalling unwanted programs, and more.

This is a handy tool for cleaning up some of the deadwood in your computer. You can either opt for the one-click cleanup (though you must specify what areas you want processed) or you can work your way through each of the sections individually (a better option if you are unsure of what will be automatically deleted).

Dedaulus System Cleaner could not remove the unwanted Norton Personal Firewall settings in the Registry of our test computer (it was uninstalled soon after being installed) but this is more about Symantec's high handed attitude towards what you have in your computer and what you don't than a problem with this cleaner.

We liked Dedaulus System Cleaner. Its one-click cleanup works well (apart from our Norton firewall problem!) and the program is extremely easy for novices to use. Experienced users will like the level of control it offers.
